  1. Two unnamed men. (25)
  2. The guards at the tomb.
  3. Jesus. (2)
  4. An angel sitting beside the tomb. (6)

The correct answer is 1, two unnamed men. We had a RECORD NUMBER of players last week (34!) and our winner of our $10 Amazon Gift Card is … Steve and Katie!

This week’s Question: In Matthew 28:19 (the “Great Commission”) where are the disciples supposed to go making disciples, and baptizing, and teaching?

  1. Everywhere!
  2. Beginning in Jerusalem, and spreading out from there.
  3. At home, work, and play.
  4. To all nations (peoples).

Bible Number

Today’s Bible Number is a big one … and we’re only going to look at how it is used at Easter. Click the video below to hear more about this number.

You may pray this out loud if you wish:

“Dear God, author of real life, this is Your day. How you shine and penetrate the deepest darkness! We praise You for victory over death, despair, and disgust … and how You’re able to quickly turn our minds from empty thinking to an eternal mindset.

You are strong.

You are powerful.

Nothing is too big for You, or so small You fail to take notice.

Today we pray for a cure to what hurts us and those we love. Yes, the virus … please God enable our leaders to develop the science and medicine needed to eradicate this sudden pandemic. But, Lord what if we are healthy but sad, angry, and hopeless? What if we test ‘negative’ but remain bitter, unguided, and lonely? Do a work among us that goes beyond infection to inspiration. Beyond fever to fervor. Take us from being distant to being in complete fellowship with You and others.

You can do it. You’ve already done it time and time again.

Do it again in our day, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Pastor Alan will be LIVE on our Facebook Page at 11:00 am. We will share your prayer requests (submitted from the check-in form above) and enjoy being together via Facebook.

Worship Song: “Praise the Name.”

Our Lord is risen … Oh Praise His Name!

Special Music (Janelle and Kim): “Forever.”

Janelle sings Kari Jobe’s “Forever.”

What if those first disciples had a Zoom Chat Easter Sunday morning?

Sermon: “”Three MORE Easter Sunday Miracles.

Finally, thank you for your support and encouragement during this crisis. A huge gift you can make in the name of Jesus is a phone call to a friend, co-worker, or neighbor who may be experiencing worry, loneliness, or fear. WE HAVE JESUS, what an awesome gift to share to a hurting world.

Closing Prayer

“Oh God, as we click away from this ‘virtual service’ help us to remain connected tightly to You most of all. Help my Bible reading and prayer times continue to mold me into the person You want me to be. Bless me, my family, my church, our nation, and strangers everywhere who are wondering ‘what’s next.’ In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Pastor Alan will be going LIVE on Facebook at 11:00 am Sunday morning to pray and connect. Join us then and you may chat via text on Facebook.
