Last week’s Question: In John 21:12-13 what did the disciples have for breakfast with Jesus?
- Thick gates and high walls.
- Impurity and sin.
- Righteous deeds of it’s citizens.
- It can’t be hidden. (28)
The correct answer is 4, It can’t be hidden. We 28 players last week and our winner of our $10 Amazon Gift Card is … Terry and Faith!
This week’s Question: In Matthew 5:28 Jesus warns us that …
- We can lose our eyesight.
- We can commit sin from a distance.
- Just looking at another person can get you in trouble.
- Marriage vows are easily forsaken.

You may pray this out loud if you wish:
“Dear God, I know that some people are scared of the dark. Some are scared of spiders or snakes, or the unknown. A part of my humanity is being scared sometimes.
I also know that Jesus came to remedy humanity. In the fullness of time, and at just the right time, Jesus showed up to love us even to the point of dying for me on the Cross. While I would have certainly been scared of the Cross, I am so glad that ‘for the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, despising its shame’ (Hebrews 12:2) … for me. Turn my fear in joy! Work so powerfully in my spirit that Your Spirit takes over. Joy, instead of fear, I pray.
The next six months are a mystery to me God. This pandemic has reminded me that ‘tomorrow’ is an unknown. I used to have a handle on things and had life figured out to a degree. But lately, I have lots of questions. I ask that as we go along together over the next six months, won’t You please give me clear direction and that sense of peace that comes from following You closely.
“Lord, You’re still there, right?” I need to know that. Affirm Your presence among us. I know the promise that You’ll “never leave nor forsake us.” I cling to that now. You ARE still there in big and small ways. Praise Your name! Glory to Your name! Your awesome name! Amen.”
Pastor Alan will be LIVE on our Facebook Page at 11:00 am. We will share your prayer requests (submitted from the check-in form above) and enjoy being together via Facebook.

Finally, thank you for your support and encouragement during this crisis. A huge gift you can make in the name of Jesus is a phone call to a friend, co-worker, or neighbor who may be experiencing worry, loneliness, or fear. WE HAVE JESUS, what an awesome gift to share to a hurting world.
“Oh God, as we click away from this ‘virtual service’ help us to remain connected tightly to You most of all. Help my Bible reading and prayer times continue to mold me into the person You want me to be. Bless me, my family, my church, our nation, and strangers everywhere who are wondering ‘what’s next.’ In Jesus’ name, amen.”
