Last week’s Question: In Matthew 6:12 Jesus suggests that being forgiven is connected to …
- God’s ‘Amazing Grace.’ (1)
- The priesthood.
- How we forgive others. (25)
- Being on mission for Christ.
The correct answer is 3, how we forgive others. We had 21 players last week and our winner of our $10 Amazon Gift Card is … JJ!
This week’s Question: According to Matthew 6:19-21, where should we keep our treasure?
- In our heart.
- Under the mattress.
- In heaven.
- In a bank.
Today’s Bible Number is a big one, and has a little something to do with our COVID-19 response. Click the video below to hear more about this number.
You may pray this out loud if you wish:
“Dear God, we’ve been praying a lot more recently. We confess that when things are going great or even just ‘normal’ we kind of coast along on cruise control … and sometimes we neglect keeping in touch with You. I’m sorry about that now. Forgive me for leaning on You just during hard times. As we continue to move through this pandemic crisis help me to remember how desperate I’ve been at times:
- For Your guidance.
- For Your mercy.
- For a human touch.
- For someone to say ‘it’s going to be okay’.
- For light at the end of the tunnel.
- For the certainty that You’re providing all I need.
- For restoring lost innocence.
Most likely, if I’m honest with myself, over time I will gradually drift back to old habits. That scares me some, because over these last two months I’ve enjoyed leaning on You more and more. So, hold me. Never let me go. When I want to wiggle away like a preschooler, firmly refuse to let me go. Please Lord, make my new normal better than the old normal.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Pastor Alan will be LIVE on our Facebook Page at 11:00 am. We will share your prayer requests (submitted from the check-in form above) and enjoy being together via Facebook.

Finally, thank you for your support and encouragement during this crisis. A huge gift you can make in the name of Jesus is a phone call to a friend, co-worker, or neighbor who may be experiencing worry, loneliness, or fear. WE HAVE JESUS, what an awesome gift to share to a hurting world.
“Oh God, as we click away from this ‘virtual service’ help us to remain connected tightly to You most of all. Help my Bible reading and prayer times continue to mold me into the person You want me to be. Bless me, my family, my church, our nation, and strangers everywhere who are wondering ‘what’s next.’ In Jesus’ name, amen.”
