Prayer

“Dear God, give us patience to wait upon You. In so many areas of our lives we are in a rush. Our National Health Emergency has slowed some of us down. That’s been hard, very hard in many cases. During these times let us lean into YOU all the more. We pray for those who have been directly impacted so far:

  • People who are sick.
  • Those caring for the sick.
  • Workers who are laid off.
  • Families stressing about finances.
  • Loved ones who can’t visit right now.
  • Businesses that are in danger of going under.
  • Government agencies which are overwhelmed.
  • Churches trying to figure out new avenues of ministry.
  • Children who are scared or confused.
  • Many others: _______________________.

The needs in our society are always great … but now they seem overwhelming. And yet, there You are, God Almighty. Show Yourself strong among us during these days. We call upon you to intervene in this worldwide pandemic and restore wholeness to people of every kindred and place.

Today won’t You give us reason for joy. Reason for laughter. Reason for hope. You’ve promised to never leave nor forsake us, and we depend upon that this hour. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Pastor Alan will be LIVE on our Facebook Page at 11:00 am. We will share your prayer requests (submitted from the check-in form above) and enjoy being together via Facebook.

Worship Song: “Build My Life.”

Sing to the Lord … He is our Audience of One.

Worship Song: “All in All.”

I love that God is always inviting people to fill His table feast.

Sermon: “The Revelation Decision” Revelation 22:6-21.

You may pause the sermon at any time to read today’s Bible passage: Revelation 22:6-21. In fact, it’s a good idea to keep your Bible handy.

Finally, thank you for your support and encouragement during this crisis. A huge gift you can make in the name of Jesus is a phone call to a friend, co-worker, or neighbor who may be experiencing worry, loneliness, or fear. WE HAVE JESUS, what an awesome gift to share to a hurting world.

Closing Prayer

“Oh God, as we click away from this ‘virtual service’ help us to remain connected tightly to You most of all. Help my Bible reading and prayer times continue to mold me into the person You want me to be. Bless me, my family, my church, our nation, and strangers everywhere who are wondering ‘what’s next.’ In Jesus’ name, amen.”
