Congratulations to Steve S. for winning our 2011 Charity Bowl Challenge! $190 will be sent to the Wytheville Training Center in his honor.
Alabama shut out LSU with a dominant performance … no BCS team has ever been shut out in a bowl game, much less the national championship game. LSU had an amazing season, which only highlights ‘bama’s performance. With such a long lay-off between the last game of the regular season and the national championship game, the outcome has much to do with coaching … and Alabama has won the national championship 2 of the last 3 years.
There is some talk of just making the SEC championship game the BCS Championship, but only talk at this point.
