After church services on November 9th we are offering our “church membership class” for people who are interested in joining our church family. The class lasts 1 hour and acquaints people with the background, purposes, and commitments of our church. At the conclusion of the class attendees receive a commitment card which they may sign and return to the pastor if they wish to become a church member.
Church membership at Sunny Hills is defined a bit different than at some churches. Membership here equals commitment. In order to be a member here you must:
- Commit your life to Christ.
- Commit to support your church family by inviting others to attend, praying for your church, and by giving financially to the program of the church.
- Commit to move forward in your spiritual walk.
We aren’t a “standing still” church. We want to move forward, change lives, and make a difference in our community. If you’d like to do that too … pleas plan on attending our church membership class on November 9th.
A pizza and salad luncheon will be provided for those attending.
The class is free and, if after attending the class, you decide not to move forward with church membership, you may certainly continue enjoying Sunny Hills as a “regular attender.”
