Prayer

You may pray this out loud if you wish:

“Dear God, we come to You as Your people asking for Your favor. Your will is perfect and holy and wonderful, if a bit mysterious to our minds at times. We yield to Your will in our lives. Your people bend before you in Worship.

  • Our minds, bent before You.
  • Our stubborn wills, bent before You.
  • Our bodies together with their frailty, bent before You.
  • Our relationships, strained now, yet bent before You.
  • Our finances, retirement funds, savings, and credit card balances, all bent before You.
  • ALL THAT WE ARE, bent before You.

You are Creator, we are Your creation. You, the maker, the Potter. We are clay. So form us through these difficult experiences. Shape us into the figure of Your Son, Jesus.

We are not who we used to be, nor are we yet who we are going to be. We are who we are today, asking for Your favor upon us and those we know are hurting.

Your favor is sweet, sweeter than honey. Pour it our upon us this hour. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.”

Pastor Alan will be LIVE on our Facebook Page at 11:00 am. We will share your prayer requests (submitted from the check-in form above) and enjoy being together via Facebook.

Offering

To make an online donation please head over to our SECURE DONATION PAGE. It’s simple, safe, and easy. (This page will open in another window, after submitting your donation use your “back” button to return to this page.)

You may also make a donation via mail: Sunny Hills Church, 2973 N 4th ST, Wytheville, VA 24382.

Finally, thank you for your support and encouragement during this crisis. A huge gift you can make in the name of Jesus is a phone call to a friend, co-worker, or neighbor who may be experiencing worry, loneliness, or fear. WE HAVE JESUS, what an awesome gift to share to a hurting world.

Closing Prayer

“Oh God, as we click away from this ‘virtual service’ help us to remain connected tightly to You most of all. Help my Bible reading and prayer times continue to mold me into the person You want me to be. Bless me, my family, my church, our nation, and strangers everywhere who are wondering ‘what’s next.’ In Jesus’ name, amen.”
